February 2010: It's here! Gwen Southin's fourth Margaret Spencer Mystery, DEATH AS A LAST RESORT, is now available. Published by Touchwood Editions. Celebrate the launch of DEATH AS A LAST RESORT at the Sunshine Coast Arts Centre in Sechelt at 7:00 pm on Friday, February 12, 2010. Everyone welcome. Late Spring 2010: NeWest Press will release Rosella Leslie's second novel: The Drift Child.
October 2010: Caitlin Press will release Betty Keller's new creative non-fiction work, A THOROUGHLY WICKED WOMAN.
The five members of The Quintessential Writers Group of the Sunshine Coast began meeting weekly in 1983 to critique each other's work. In the succeeding 27 years the group's members- Maureen Foss, Betty Keller, Rosella Leslie, Gwen Southin and Eileen Williston - have published 20 books, dozens of articles and short stories, each one with the generous input and support of the others in the group.
